I am the Agent charges a fee of £399 (inc VAT) to help home owners advertise their property on its site. But it is more than the website: the agent also lists the advertised properties on portals like RightMove, Zoopla, and PrimeLocation. These portals have millions of visitors per week, thus increasing your chances of getting a call from a potential buyer.
I Am the Agent doesn’t only list homes for sale, but for rent too. If you are looking to advertise a property for rent, it costs £49 (INC vat). I Am the Agent™ prides itself in helping customers save extra cash, because a typical high-street real estate agent usually charges over £4000 to sell a landed property. The web listing method also gives sellers control of their sales, such as deciding the asking price and negotiations. Hence the name, I Am the Agent.
What services Does the Cost Cover?
The cost covers listing your property on their site, including the complete details, along with the photographs, floorplans, and descriptions of the features. The seller is assigned a dedicated property assistant who calls to inform them about same day viewing requests.
They will also set up a free ‘For Sale’ board, professionally photograph your home, and create a floor plan (which costs £120). They will provide you with an EPC at £65. A free property valuation is not included, but I Am the Agent™ will organise a RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) approved professional to carry one for an additional fee.
How do Sites like Zoopla, Right Move, and PrimeLocation Differ from I Am the Agent?
While I Am the Agent™ is a real estate agent, Zoopla, RightMove, and PrimeLocation are merely advertising portals. They provide a window for people to display their homes for rent or sale, but are not enabled to ensure the completion of the deal on their platform.
Instead, the interested buyer clicks on the ad and is directed to the listing site (I Am the Agent), where they can get in touch with the seller to conclude negotiations. The dedicated account manager can organise home viewing dates for the seller to receive potential buyers. They can also assist with price negotiations or introduce a qualified solicitor to execute the conveyance details of property exchange.
